The HVAC Installer is responsible for installing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial buildings according to manufacturer specifications, project blueprints, and local building codes. This role ensures systems operate efficiently, safely, and reliably once installed.
Installers remove outdated equipment, assemble and mount new HVAC components, connect ductwork and refrigerant lines, and test system performance. They coordinate with project managers, electricians, and other trades to ensure installation timelines are met. Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are critical.
Ideal candidates demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude, knowledge of HVAC components, and ability to read blueprints and schematics. They must work independently or collaboratively as part of an installation team while maintaining a clean and organized work environment. On-the-job training and adherence to safety standards are mandatory to protect both workers and occupants.
What you’ll be doing
· Installing HVAC systems according to project blueprints and specifications
· Removing and safely disposing of outdated HVAC equipment
· Assembling and connecting ductwork, piping, and electrical components

· Coordinating with electricians, contractors, and other trades on-site
