The HVAC Service Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial properties. This role ensures optimal system performance, energy efficiency, and occupant comfort while providing exceptional customer service.
Technicians respond to service calls, perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, and replace defective components. They also communicate findings, recommend solutions, and educate customers on system operation and care. Emergency service may be required outside normal hours depending on service demands.
Ideal candidates possess strong technical skills, problem-solving ability, and professionalism. Knowledge of HVAC systems, tools, and safety procedures is essential, along with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Accurate documentation of service calls, parts usage, and work performed is required to maintain operational records and support customer service.
What you’ll be doing
